William Richard Alexander

WILLIAM RICHARD ALEXANDER

William Richard Alexander, a life long Stamford resident passed away August 24th, 2007 at Florida Medical Center in Lauderhill, Fl at the age of 68.

He was born July 6th, 1939. He was the son of McKinley and Rebecca Jackson Alexander.

Mr. Alexander worked as a custodian for the Board of Ed for 39 years.

He is survived by his wife Phyllis Davis-Alexander and his daughters; Katrien M. Alexander of Stamford, CT; Candice F. Smith of Greenwich, CT. and Michele J. Adams of Bridgeport, CT.

He is survived by one brother David Alexander of Hampton, VA and one aunt Mary Moore of Brooklyn, NY.

He is also survived by his grandchildren; Joshua Adams, Rahlyn Hayes, Cantrice Alexander, Williams Foster, LaShona Smalls, Jahmar, Dennis, Lyneisha, Doyle & Phillip

Smith.. Six great-grand children; Shamia and Karim Davidson, La Shara Alexander, George Williams Jr., Charlei Glover and Jacob Williams. Eighteen nieces and twenty-one nephews.

A memorial service will be conducted at Memorial Temple Baptist Church 16600 N.W. 44 Court, Miami Gardens, FL on Friday August 31, 2007.

Funeral Services were Tuesday, September 4th, 2007 at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 150 Fairfield Ave., Stamford, CT 06902. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, 61 Woodland Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902.
