Wakefield Hariston age 55, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, entered eternal rest November 23, 2008 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was born February 2, 1953 to Louise Hairston and the late Blake Hairston. Wakefield attended Bridgeport public schools and graduated from Bassick High in 1971. He was employed by Suburban Sanitation. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Louise of Tallahasse, FL, four sisters, Wahnetta Edmonds (Gregory) of Bridgeport, Shirley Hamilton (Eddie) and Winona Paterson (Michael) of Tallahassee, FL and Sarah Christy (Ronald) of Goodyear, AZ. Six brothers, Anthony (Jean), Blake, Jr. (Brenda), and Cleo of Tallahassee, FL, Emanuel, Sr. (Earnestine), Arthur (Vanessa) and Thurman of South Carolina. Funeral Services were at Baker-Isaac Funeral Chapel, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06607, Monday, December 1, 2008, and Internment at Park Cemetery.
