Terrence J. Cramer

–

New Haven, Connecticut

Terrence Jerome Cramer, affectionately known as “Tee/T” or “SwiftTmeg,” was born on December 15, 1984, to Doreen Jeannette Ann Cramer and Kirby Jerome Keene. Terrence departed this earthly life far too soon on March 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy rooted in love, strength, and unwavering integrity. Terrence was educated in the Bridgeport Public School System and graduated from Bullard-Havens Technical High School in 2003, where he studied Automotive Technology. He continued his education at Southern Connecticut State University, earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Terrence answered the call to serve his community by becoming a firefighter with the City of Bridgeport. He was a proud member of CFA Class 58, graduating in December 2016. For over 9 and a half years, he served with courage, honor, and dedication, assigned to Engine 6, A Shift, on Central Avenue. He didn’t just wear the uniform, he lived what it stood for. He was dependable, fearless, and always willing to put others before himself.

Above all, Terrence was a devoted and loving father. His greatest joy in life is his two sons, Jaxon and Jagger Cramer. His boys are his world—the light of his life—and everything he did reflected his deep love and commitment to them. Terrence is truly one of a kind. His love for life showed in everything he did. Whether he was traveling with “The Pack” or his “Swift” crew, enjoying new experiences, or capturing moments along the way, he lived fully and intentionally. He was passionate about basketball, especially his love for the Chicago Bulls, and could always be found talking about the game or enjoying it with family and friends.

He had a deep appreciation for style and culture. His love for sneakers was unmatched, always stepping out fresh with his own unique flair. His creativity extended to his love for art, especially tattoos, which he wore as expressions of his story, experiences, and the things he valued most.

Terrence’s character spoke louder than anything else. He was humble, respectful, and always carried himself with dignity. He was loving, caring, and selfless—always showing up for others without hesitation. He was loyal to the core and fiercely protective of those he loved. A man of integrity and honor, he stood firmly on what was right—always, in all ways. He led with love, never ego, and treated everyone with kindness and respect. Terrence truly had no enemies. He was genuine, patient, compassionate, and supportive, a solid presence in every space he entered.

He also took great pride in caring for his father, showing the depth of his character through his actions, not just his words.

Terrence leaves to cherish his memory a loving circle of family, his devoted father, Kirby Keene; his beloved sons, Jaxon Cramer and Jagger Cramer; his Godchildren, Taylor Evans, Skylan Franklin and Jeremiah Dawson; his Sister Shatara Tucker (Darnell), His Uncles, Anthony Keene (Sherri), Robert Keene (Cheryl), Malcolm Daniels, and Mark Crawford; His Aunts Joyce Armstrong, Hope Russell, and Cassandra Todd (Albert). He also leaves behind a host of beloved cousins, relatives, extended family and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Doreen Cramer; his grandmother, Carrie Williams; his uncle, Michael (Crawford) Jones; and his great-grandmother, Mattie Jones.

Terrence’s life embodied love, strength, and purpose. His presence was impactful, his heart was sincere, and his legacy will continue to live on through his children, his family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
