Shelia Cash Obituary (1963

Mrs. Shelia Cash-Cherry, age 50, passed away unexpectedly in Waterbury Hospital on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. She was born on September 7, 1963 in Bridgeport, CT to Robert Cash and the late Rose M. Nix-Cash. Shelia was educated in the Bridgeport Public School System before relocating to Waterbury, CT where she resided until her passing. She attended Naugatuck Valley Community College, where she studied in the medical field. She provided compassionate care to her residents. Shelia was very out spoken, had a big sense of humor and a big heart. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, laughing and was a great cook. Shelia was one of the strongest woman any of us knew and was very tough and a fighter. Of all things she loved her children and grandchildren. In addition to her father Robert Cash, she leaves to cherish her memory a son, Charles Cash; three daughters, Ashia Cash, Charisia Cash and Ebony Cash; a sister, Diane Cash; two brothers, Steven Cash and Wayne Tate; four grandchildren, Amaree Williams, Tahjanae Ward, Christiano Owens, Brandon Cash and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may greet the family at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Baker-Isaac Funeral Chapel, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, CT until the time of service at 12:00 Noon. Inerment to follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.
