We come to celebrate the life of Patricia A. Jackson. She was born to Katie Davis and Clarence Jackson. She grew up in Philadelphia, Pa. Graduated from all girl's high school in Philadelphia. After graduating, she held several different jobs. Her first job right out of high school was a seamstress. Later on, she learned Data entry and worked as a keypunch operator. Patricia, also worked as a home health aide. Her last job, was Office Administrator Assistance, located at Stony Brook hospital in Long Island, NY.
Patricia relocated to Long Island, NY. Where she raised her children. Finally, she moved to CT and she fell in love with the state. After visiting her eldest daughter Eve. Where she remained until her death on July 21, 2021.
Patricia was loving and giving throughout her life. She never wanted to see any child hungry or homeless. She always opened her door to others.
Our mom's hobbies were doing puzzles. Playing the card game rummy 500 with her children. She always beat us. She loved playing chess. We never won against her at that game either. Her home walls was decorated with many puzzles that she completed. She expressed that doing them kept her mind sharp and focused. Her favorite animal was the elephant. She collected many elephant statues and figurines. She felt they brought her luck.
Patricia's grandchildren were everything to her. Each one of them had their own special bond with her. She was there when they came home from the hospital. She watched most of grandchildren being born. She there when they were sick, for school plays, and graduations. Patricia was her grandchildren's biggest fan. She always made her family her main priority. She cherished each and everyone of her grandchildren.
Patricia made her rounds visiting her friends where she lived in Ludlow village. Many of the Residents there were like her family. She was particularly close to Ms. Paulett and Ms. Shirley. They always looked out for Our mother. They considered her family. She loved the company of all her family at Ludlow village.
Patricia loved her gospel music. She always kept lord in her heart. She never stopped worshiping him. Even when she was unable to make it to Sunday services.
Our mom would always say "You can worship the Lord anywhere. As long as you keep him in your heart, and keep the faith. He is always with you."
No matter how hard life got for her. She always kept that beautiful smile of hers. Patricia Jackson presence will be greatly missed. She is now with her mother, father and sister up in heaven.
