McCrawley Booker Obituary (1930

McCrawley Booker, 80, passed away January 2, 2011. Mr. Booker was born in Amelia, Virginia in 1930. He later enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Korean War. In 1957, McCrawley married the late Clara Williams. While residing in Stamford, Mr. Booker worked for Ridgeway Shopping Center, and later drove for Greenwich Bus Company until his retirement. McCrawley Booker is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Vonetta and Rodney Brown; sisters Flossie Lawson of Richmond, Virginia and Lois Alford of Alexandria, Virginia; one granddaughter, Zoe Brown; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Greater Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church. The viewing will begin at 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. Interment immediately following the service at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien, Connecticut.
