Martha Ann Whittaker

Martha Whittaker was born in Norwalk, CT to Sydney J. (Morton) Whittaker and Arthur Lee Whittaker, Sr.
She attended local schools such as Marvin Elementary and Briggs Center for Vocational Arts. She worked at Pac-Kit in Norwalk, but she was known for her long duration of 35 years at US Surgical, based out of Norwalk and North Haven, CT.
Martha loved music, dancing and spending her time with family and friends. Martha loved the Lord, she loved life, she loved to laugh and she especially loved her family and friends. She wore a suit of armor on the outside to protect the pure heart of gold she had on the inside.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her mother Sydney, her beloved significant partner of 38 years, Johnnie Johnson of Norwalk, CT . Martha did not have any children of her own, but loved Hoppe Butler (Johnnies Daughter) as if she was her own. She also leaves behind one brother, Arthur Lee Whittaker, Jr of Bridgeport, CT, six sisters Areletha Goode, Barbara Jones, both of West Palm Beach, FL, Cynthia Whittaker, Karen Whittaker Boykin, Mary Whittaker all of Bridgeport, CT and Donna Whittaker Keel of Norwalk, CT., along with first cousins in MA, NJ and CT Martha leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews to cherish her memories. Martha was predeceased by her father, Arthur Lee Whittaker, Sr. and sister, Geraldine Whittaker Dawluns.
