Leslye Ann Nicholson Obituary (1949

Leslye Ann Nicholson, age 72, passed away December 28, 2021 at her home in Norwalk, Connecticut surrounded by her loving family. Leslye was born October 9, 1949 in New York, a daughter of the late Lucille Bradby and Alton Henry Bradby. She attended school and graduated in New York. In December, 1976 she moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut. Leslye worked for Union Trust Bank for many years. She then went to school for home healthcare and began working at Wilton Meadows where she met Glenn Nicholson. The two of them soon fell in love and were married on December 13, 1997. Leslye later furthered her education in the healthcare field to become an O.R. Surgical Technician. She was then employed at Norwalk Hospital and served as a dedicated worker for 19 years. Leslye was loved by everyone. She had a heart of gold and would go out of her way to help anybody. She loved her family and got along with everyone. Leslye will never be forgotten but she will be surely missed. She was our rock that we all went to when we needed wisdom and love. Leslye leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Glenn Nicholson; one daughter, Ronique Cleveland; two sons, Jake Bradby of Hartford, Connecticut and Kyle (Darcy) Bradby of Pennsylvania; one step-daughter, Natasha Nicholson of Atlanta, Georgia; one goddaughter, Desiree Wray; one sister, Eleanor Gray; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Sandra Jean Morris of California; and two brothers, Alton Henry and IVan Breon Bradby. Funeral Services will be private.
