Laurence Williams Jr.

Laurence Williams was born on September 1, 1965 to Mary Lee Williams and Lawrence Collick in Charleston, SC. Larry was raised in Charleston by his mother and stepfather, Bernard Hamilton.

After graduating from Bonds Wilson High School, Larry moved to Brooklyn, NY with his aunt, Betty Jones. He soon relocated to Bridgeport, CT with his father, Lawrence Collick.

Larry found his wife while a member at Timothy Chapel Church where he served as an usher and sang in the mens choir. They have been together for over 23 years.

Larry was a devoted husband and father. He previously worked security at St. Josephs Manor for 11 years, and most recently at Securitas which changed to Aron Security Company for 8 years. Larry enjoyed watching the History Channel and was an avid Giants fan. He also loved his wifes southern cooking and spending time with his family. His favorite saying was, "hold on just a little while longer, everythings gonna be alright."

Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, Annie Williams; father Lawrence Collick (Vera); daughters, Carolyn Williams and Rachell Williams; son, Joseph Williams; brothers, Steven Williams and Antonio Williams; sisters, Veneer Sanogo and Yohana Robertson (James); a granddaughter, Zarya Parrish; and a host of in-laws, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
