Khaliyl Aamir

Khaliyl Aamir aka Kevin Brown (Cash) entered into eternal rest on January 4, 2019. He was born on February 18, 1952 in Bridgeport, CT to the late Lorraine Dullivan Brown and the late Douglas Brown Senior.
During his professional career, Khaliyl worked as a Presser with various Dry Cleaners for over 30 years. He also worked Per Diem for Recovery Network of Programs. In his spare time, he volunteered at various soup kitchens and always made time to help other less fortunate then himself.
Khaliyl loved to read and took great strides to consistently educate himself. He took video photography courses and other technical tutorials to keep up with the changing trends in technology.
Khaliyl enjoyed music and all things electronics. He can be seen singing and dancing the two-step anytime music was playing. Khaliyl was a self-proclaimed ladies man with a heart of gold. He will be most remembered for his infectious laugh, inspirational nuggets of wisdom, smooth demeanor, and loving heart.
Khaliyl was predeceased by his brother, Douglas Brown Jr. He leaves to mourn his passing his brother, Keith Brown of Bridgeport; daughters, Nushon Scales, Bridgeport; Shameen Delaney, Brooklyn NY; Donita Delaney, Bridgeport; sons, LaVaughne Scales, Rasaan Scales, and Gibran Scales all of Bridgeport; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, a nephew, nieces, cousins, uncles, extended family relatives and friends.
Private arrangements have been made by the family. Please inquire with the immediate family on the repast time and location that will be open to family and friends.
