It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Katrina Scott, affectionately known as Trina by all who cherished her. Born on April 11, 1981, in Bridgeport, CT, Trina was a beacon of light, radiating joy and laughter wherever she went. Her vibrant spirit was infectious, her laughter medicine for the soul. Her funny, loyal, loving, and smart personality was a magnet that drew people towards her. Trina certainly left an indelible imprint on our hearts.

Residing in Stratford, Connecticut, Trina was a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager for the CT Dept of Developmental Services. Her work was more than just employment; it was a testament to her compassionate soul and her desire to make a difference in the lives of those she served. Trina was an accomplished woman, having earned her master's degree from Albertus Magnus College after graduating from Harding High School in 1997. Yet her achievements did not define her. Instead, it was her heart, her spirit, and her love for life that made Trina truly extraordinary.

Trina was a woman who loved wholeheartedly. She loved shopping, she loved her favorite sneakers, but above all, she loved her son Taijer Jones, she cherished ever moment with him until even her last words was Tai.
