Miss Jobyna M. Scott went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, July 10, 2008 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Jobyna was born July 13, 1933 in Montgomery, Alabama to the late Matrice and Mamie Robinson Scott. She retired from the Social Security Administration and later entered into The Real Estate Field, working at Nova Realty. Cherishing her memory are her children; Winifred "Wendy" Green of Stratford, Connecticut and Phillip B. Norris, Sr. of Bridgeport, Connecticut;;six grandchildren, Valita Green, Ebony T. Belcher (Barry), Jetaun Green, all of Stratford, Connecticut; Phillip B. Norris, Jr. of Bridgeport, Connecticut; Terrell Green of Stratford, and Steven Norris of Bridgeport, Connecticut; her beloved great-grandchildren, Jalen, Jenaisha, Robbie, Nia'Imani, Jekhari, Ahmir, Divine, Immanuel, Jordan, and Romeo; sister, Joan Scott Ruff; brother, Matrice Scott, Jr. (Ilene); niece, Kimberly Wise; nephews, Matthew and Martrice Scott of Georgia; and a host of close family and friends. Memorial Services were Monday, July 14, 2008 at Mt Aery Baptist Church, 73 Frank Street, Bridgeport and Interment at Mountain Grove Cemetery, North Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut.
