Joan Chufoo

Joan Chu Foo entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 21, 2021. She was born in Trinidad on September 17, 1958 to the late Michael and Josephine Dubissette.

Joan was educated at the Diego Martin Secondary School in Trinidad. She migrated to the United States in 1990 where she furthered her education and became a CNA.

Joan worked as a CNA for many years. She was a very kind-hearted and generous soul and helped everyone who needed help. Joan was a strong proponent of education and supported her nieces and nephews by contributing financially to their education.

Joan was loved and will be greatly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her two sons, Roger and Jade Chu Foo; her sisters, Monica (Edmond) Byam and Shairoon Espinoza; three borthers, Boyie Lackran, Anthony (Eugenie) Lackran and Wilton Dubissette; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three sistres, Louise and Louisa Dubissette and Cheryl Charles.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2021 at 11:00 AM, Baker Funeral Services, 84 South Main Street, Norwalk, CT. Family will receive guest from 10:00 AM until time of service at the chapel. Interment will take place at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Easton, CT.
