Jerry Cook Sr.

Jerry Cook age 67 entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 7, 2023.

Mr. Jerry Cook, Sr., known to most as "Truck," was born to the late Herman Cook, Sr. and Carrie Cook on July 28, 1955 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Jerry departed this live in Harlem Hospital in Harlem, New York.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Brenda Cook of Baltimore, Maryland; 4 daughters, Rickeya, Brenina, Shaquoia and LaTashia; 2 sons, Jerrell and Jerrod; 10 grandkids, Kerria, Javon, KeBryant, Keevie, Jaylen, Jace, Chanel, Ayanaa, Fleetwood and Supreme.

Jerry is predeceased by his mother and father, Carrie Cook and Herman Cook; son, Jerry Cook, Jr.; sister, Brenda Cook; niece, Broncha Cook (Rita); and brothers, Richie Cook and Robbie Cook.

To cherish his memory, he leaves, 2 sisters, Beverly (Cook) Jordan of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Alfreda Hicks of Stamford, Connecticut; 2 brothers, Bernard Cook of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Bondel Cook of Bridgeport, Connecticut; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Jerry found peace by the waters where the fish jump. He enjoyed family and friends. In his own way, "talking trash" was his way of showing his love. Jerry loved to eat. Curleys Diner was his spot and you could always find him there. He loved all the kids in the family, the boys more than the girls. To know Jerry, you had to understand him. Jerry will be missed by many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Shining Star Lodge (ELKS), 33 Mission Street, Stamford, CT.
