Jacqueline Mullins was born on April 10, 1969, in Norwalk, Connecticut, to Gloristeen Mullins. On July 3, 2026, Jackie peacefully entered into eternal rest, surrounded by the love of her family and embraced by God's grace. Jackie was born and raised in Norwalk, where she attended Norwalk Public Schools. She graduated from Brien McMahon High School before pursuing her true passion for beauty at Wilfred Beauty Academy.
Hair was more than a career for Jackie it was her calling. She found immense joy in helping others look and feel their best. She began her career at Salon Roshawn before continuing at New Image, eventually fulfilling her dream of opening her own salon, Trene's and then moving on to Jenny's. Jackie loved transforming people's looks and took special pride in creating beautiful finger waves. Nothing made her happier than the time she spent behind the chair. It wasn't simply her profession; it was her joy, her creative outlet, and the way she made others feel confident and beautiful.
Jackie's passions were as vibrant as her personality. She had a remarkable sense of style and loved fashion. Whether it was bold statement jewelry, stylish glasses, or a shopping trip, she enjoyed expressing herself with elegance and flair. Her radiant spirit and infectious smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Jackie was a devoted member of Kingdom Restoration, where she faithfully served as one of the first welcoming faces to greet people as they entered for worship. She deeply loved her church and her church family. Most importantly, she loved Jesus with her whole heart and dedicated her life to serving Him.
Above all else, Jackie cherished her family. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Her family was her pride and joy, and she loved them with all her heart. Nothing brought her greater happiness than seeing her loved ones smile, and she would do anything to make that happen.
Jackie leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Gloristeen Mullins; her daughters, Asia Trene Phillips and Alexus Curtin; her son-in-love, David Curtin; her beloved grandchildren, Nevaeh Faith Phillips, Andre J. Curtin, and Amira Rose Curtin; her husband, Wicky Guy McGee; her siblings, Nakayra Profit (Kevin), Alena Owens, Frederick Eason, Phyllis Mayo, Teresa Tillman (Marvin), Deborah Peeples (Melvin), Jacqueline Taylor, Darrick Eason (Karen), Lorna Dancy (Tyrone), Chris Eason, and Joshua Eason; and her dearest friends, Kelly Harris-Stefannelli, Porchia Merritt, Roshawn Bryant-Middleton, Michelle Terry, and Tonya Farmer.
She also leaves behind a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Jackie's love, faith, generosity, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, beauty, kindness, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire everyone whose lives she touched.
There are no words to express the pain of losing my only daughter. My heart will forever miss her, but I thank God for the 57 beautiful years He allowed us to share. Jackie filled my life with love, laughter, and precious memories that I will treasure for the rest of my days. Until we meet again, you will always be my baby and forever in my heart - Mom
