Jacqueline Blue

We celebrate the life of Jaqueline 'Jackie' Blue, who passed away at age 64 on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, following a long illness, in her hometown of Norwalk, Connecticut. The eldest of three daughters, she is survived by her mother, Joan Blue, her sisters, Francine Blue and Tanya Blue, and her nephew, Miles Blue Cook. She was predeceased by her father, Ernest Blue.

Born on January 8, 1961, Jackie had a zest for life. She attended Brien McMahon High School and spoke often of her dream to travel the world, and explore new cultures and people. Although she was never able to realize this dream, in recent years, she developed an interest in home decor and renovation, spending countless hours a day watching the home renovation channel, HGTV, for ideas. A self-proclaimed foodie, she loved all Italian foods, and was the first to sit and the last to leave the dinner table at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She also loved a good Sunday afternoon football game, often watching the games at home with her mom. She particularly loved when her beloved Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl, earlier this year.

Family meant everything to Jackie, from celebrating her nephew Miles' college graduation, to her sister Tanya's renovation of her home in Washington, D.C., to helping her Mom with yardwork and gardening. She especially enjoyed reminiscing during the holidays about old family stories.

Along with her mother, sisters and nephew, Jackie leaves to cherish her memory a host aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
