Isiah Cooper

Isiah Cooper Jr. affectionately known as "Buster", went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Norwalk Hospital in Norwalk, CT.

Isiah Cooper was born on February 1, 1945 in Darlington, South Carolina to the late Isiah and Benny Cooper. He attended school in Lamar, South Carolina. He was married to the love of his life Virginia Cooper in 1966, he moved to Stamford, CT in 1969.

Isiah worked at Clairol in 1969 as a chemical picker. After retirement Isiah enjoyed racing cars, fixing cars, fishing, playing checkers and love listening to old blues music. He also enjoyed roasting pigs for the people in the community.

Isiah leaves to cherish his memories, One Son Darryl Cooper (Alecia) of Connecticut, Three brothers, Mike Cooper of Connecticut, David Cooper of South Carolina and Ocey Cooper of South Carolina. Five Grandchildren Eric Cooper Jr., Derrick Cooper, Parish Cooper, Storm Cooper and Skye Cooper-Gulsevin (Alper). One Goddaughter Davida Johnson, as well as two Great-Grandchildren and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.

Along with his beloved wife and his parents he was preceded in death by his two sons Isiah Cooper and Eric Cooper, his two sisters Helen Mixon, Rosemay Maeshack and three Brothers Sunny Boy Cooper, Ricky Cooper and Benjay Cooper

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 @ 11:00 AM, Baker Funeral Services, 84 South Main Street, Norwalk, CT. Interment will be private.
