Denise Antoinette Rogers-Rollins

Denise Antoinette Rogers-Rollins was born on November 17, 1961 to William and Katherine Boozer Rogers in Bridgeport, CT. Niecy, as she was affectionately called by friends and family, was the eldest of 6 children.
She attended Bridgeport Public schools, and a Medical Assistant course at Butler Business School. She also worked as a CNA for some time. She liked to help people, which included caring for sister Ginger before her passing, and most recently living with and helping care for her son Tyrell day in and day out.
Niecy loved to watch movies, sing, laugh, cook, read and joke.
She was predeceased by her parents, a brother William Rogers Jr. (Bubbie), her sister, Ginger Beatrice Rogers and 2 beloved Aunts, Earnestine Gee, and Betsy Boozer.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Harold Rollins, 1 brother, Timothy Rogers, 3 sisters, Tina Williams, Theresa Jones, and Tawana Johnson, 3 step-brothers, Stanley, Isaac and Jamie Prosise of Virginia, 1 Aunt, Frankie Boozer Berry of Hamden, and was favorite Auntie to a host of nieces and nephews. She was most importantly mother to twin sons Tyrone & Tyrell Rogers and will be deeply missed by all.
