Curtis Williams, 80, of West Haven, CT entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Bridgeport Hospital. Curtis was born to Celia Williams and Frank Williams in Elloree, SC on April 29, 1946. Curtis attended Elloree Training School and loved working on his late grandfather’s family farm. When Curtis was 17, he moved to New York, NY where he joined his mother and other siblings. Curtis later moved to Connecticut, where he worked as a Forklift Operator for over 30 years at Unique Applications in Bridgeport, CT until he retired. After retirement, he became an entrepreneur owning his own landscaping business and providing junk removal services. Curtis delivered trustworthy high-quality work that led to new friendships and more landscaping opportunities.
Curtis always showed up for his family and friends. He was a giver during his life on Earth. He never asked questions if you needed anything. He always wanted to do his best as a father, friend, and brother. Curtis was dedicated to making sure everyone around him always had a wonderful time. The laughter he would give, as well as his dance moves were unmatched. Everyone who spoke of him would always say, “he is such a great guy”, and that he was a man of GOD and strength. Curtis’ loud laugh, his big tight hugs, his great sense of humor, generosity, and caring soul will never be forgotten. A life lived, a legend in his right!
