Catherine (Rogers) Walker, 62 y/o born on June 18, 1959 to the late Elizabeth and Jessie Rogers. She departed this life on

March 13, 2022 in Bridgeport, CT.

Catherine is survived by her Husband Victor Walker, daughter Monique Rogers. Predeceased by her Parents Jessie Rogers,

Elizabeth Rogers, brothers Robert Rogers, Gary Lee Rogers, Raymond Rogers, Eulene Rogers.

Catherine was a longtime resident of Bridgeport Ct where she graduated from Bassick High School. She also worked various jobs throughout her lifetime and spent the later portion of her years helping to care for her grandchildren.

Catherine was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time in the kitchen cooking, cleaning, filling her home with her oldies and gospel music on full blast. If that wasnt enough, she turned on her scented candle warmers with a few tea light candles to create her warm homely feeling. Another one of Catherines favorite hobbies was to create her small plants in a vase for her family and friends. She was loved by many, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of those who knew her. Creating memories with her family friends and grandchildren was a daily past time she enjoyed best. One of her favorite quotes she would say is "You have to go through to get through".

It was often said that there wasnt a stranger that Catherine didnt know nor a funeral she didnt attend to help and support her family and friends. Her life will forever be Cherished by her Daughter: Monique Rogers, grandchildren Amiya Lareese Jean Baptiste, Dominique Elizabeth Ellerby, Desirae Monae Ellerby Maniya Truly Rogers, Brothers Roy Rogers sister-n-law Ramona Rogers, Jesse Rogers, sister Ann Marie Rogers. With Many Devoted Lifetime friends and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Cathedral of Praise 45 Gregory Street Bridgeport, CT 06604 starting at 11:00am. The family will receive friends starting at 10:00am until time of service.
