As well as his siblings Fredrick Davis, Sr., Maplewood, NJ; Bobbie Davis, Poughkeepsie, NY; Wayne Davis, Norwalk, CT; Nancy Davis, Orange, NJ; and Betsy Davis, Naugatuck, CT. Abraham had a zest for life, evident in his favorite activities which included playing billiards, gardening, and being a handyman. He enjoyed weightlifting as a form of exercise and cherished vacationing in Jamaica. He was known for his love of Italian and Jamaican cuisine, and getting a good deal, as well as his appreciation for the music of Marvin Gaye and watching old westerns. He also was an avid collector.
In life, Abraham shared valuable lessons with others, such as never quitting, being a professional, and the importance of having fun. His legacy will live on through his son, two grandsons, and the memories of those who frequented his home. Abraham's garage was a communal hub for the neighborhood - friends, family, and neighbors would stop by to spend hours with him, laughing, storytelling, and playing pool.
